2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Profile information from Google OAuth (if you sign in with Google)

2.2 Pitch and Contact Data

When you use our Service to track pitches, we collect:

  • Outlet names and contact information you manually enter
  • Pitch status and follow-up dates
  • Campaign names and artist information
  • Notes and interactions you add

2.3 Gmail Data (Extension Only)

Our Chrome extension requests read-only access to Gmail (gmail.readonly) to help you log pitches from email threads. We access:

  • Email sender and recipient information (for auto-filling contact details)
  • Email subject lines (for pitch context)
  • Email thread IDs (to link pitches to conversations)

Important: We do NOT read, store, or process the body content of your emails. We only access metadata to pre-fill pitch forms and link to conversations.

3. Google API Services User Data Policy

Outreach's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

  • We only request access to data necessary for the Service to function
  • We do not use Google user data for advertising purposes
  • We do not sell Google user data to third parties
  • We do not use Google user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes

Limited Use Disclosure

Outreach's use of information received from Gmail APIs adheres to Google's Limited Use requirements:

  • We only use gmail.readonly access to read the email thread you are currently viewing in Gmail, for the sole purpose of pre-filling pitch tracking forms.
  • We do not store, share, or transfer your Gmail data to any third parties.
  • We do not use Gmail data for advertising, market research, or any unrelated purpose.
  • Human access to Gmail data is limited to debugging with user consent or security investigations.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Process your subscription and payments
  • Send you follow-up reminders and notifications
  • Respond to your enquiries and support requests
  • Monitor and analyse usage patterns to improve the Service
  • Protect against fraud and abuse

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase (PostgreSQL) for data storage with Row-Level Security (RLS) enabled, ensuring you can only access your own data.

Payment information is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details on our servers.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: With third parties who help us operate the Service (e.g., Stripe for payments, Supabase for hosting)
  • Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or UK, you have the right to:
